Ainsworth Sr., 84, of Olla, died at his residence on Saturday, May 4, 1991, after a brief illness. He owned and operated Ainsworth's Grocery in Rosefield before his retirement. He was a fisherman and logger and a member of Rosefield Baptist Church. Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 6, at Rosefield Baptist Church with the Revs. James Foster and Chris Meredith officiating. Burial followed in Rosefield Cemetery under direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Survivors include his wife Julia Curington Ainsworth of Olla; two sons,, Alvin J. Ainsworth Jr. of Olla and David Ainsworth of Ridgecrest; three daughters, Bertie Esters, Edith Kelly and Julia Powell, all of Olla; a sister, Alma Smith of Olla; a half-brother, Gelia Ainsworth of Olla; three half-sisters, Oleta Masters, Mettie Breithaupt and Gracie Anisworth, all of Jena; 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was a homemaker and was born June 10, 1925, in Montrose to the union of H.N. and Adaline Roy. Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 15, at the chapel of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Ernie Maynard and Alban Poole officiating. Burial followed at the Welcome Home Cemetery near Grayson under direction of Kinner and Stevens, Inc. of Jena. Ainsworth Dies Here, Rites Held at Midway Mr. Franklin Fate Ainsworth, 76, of Jena died at 10:20 pm Thursday, April 6, 1967. Mr. Ainsworth died at Jena Hospital. He was a retired sawmill worker. Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm Saturday, April 8th at Midway Pentecostal Church with the Rev. John W. Blow officiating. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Church of Christ. A veteran of World War II, Mr. Ainsworth was born October 11, 1919, at Rosefield to the union of Robert Kirksey and Maggie Olivia Ford Ainsworth. Services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 17, at the chapel of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. J. C. Oser and Alban Poole officiating.
