No more will they hear the prattle of her baby tongue or the patter of her baby feet. But weep not, dear parents. We know it is hard. But God needed another angel in His shining band and so he bent with loving care and clasped our darling's hands She is asleep in Jesus and when this world is ended Baby Audie will have an eternal home in glory; for does not God say: "Suffer little children to come unto me and forbid them not; for of such is the kingdom of heaven;" And, dear parents, you can live your life in a way so as to meet your baby in heaven. Sleep on, sweet Audie, Take thy rest; God called thee home, He thought it best. Like a flower you passed away. We have no baby now, but we'll meet in that bright home where we shall part no more. A loved one from us has gone, A loving heart is still; A place is vacant in our home, Which can never be still; A place is vacant in our home; Which never can be filled. But someday we hope to meet, When the day of life is fled, And in Heaven with joy to greet her, Where no parting tears are shed, Heaven now retains our treasure, Earth the lowly casket keeps, And the sunbeams long to linger Where our precious baby sleeps. Baby Audie, We have laid you In the peaceful grave's embrace. But thy memory shall be cherished "Till we see the precious face, She budded on earth to bloom in Heaven. The writer's sincere sympathy is extended to the bereaved ones. A COUSIN Audie was born December 5, 1916 and died of congestion caused by malaria. She is buried in the Belah Cemetery.
