SOUTHEAST, SPRINGHILL, LA. 71075. === Submitted by Kim Wise Source: Riser Funeral Home Date: August 27, 2004 Obituary of Maggie Sue Barnum February 22, 2003 Services for Maggie Sue Barnum, age 95, of Urania will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2003 at the First Baptist Church in Urania with Rev. James Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Bethel Cemetery west of Clarks. Mrs. Barnum was born in Hinds County, Ms. on December 28, 1907 to the union of Walter and Kate Lyons Jackson and died Thursday, February 20, 2003 at the LaSalle General Hospital in Jena. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Urania. She was preceded in death by her husband: M.H. "Bud" Barnum. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law: Evelyn and Forrest Cook of Urania, Jane and Bob Walker of Irving, Tx., Elaine and Jerry Harris of Urania and Sue and Jimmie Kees of Luling, La., her brother: Hensel Jackson of Alvin, Tx., ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, many neices and nephews and a host of friends. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons. Visitation will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon at Riser Funeral Home in Olla and from 1 p.m. until time of services at the First Baptist Church in Urania. ===
