Services for Luther Monroe Dunn, 96, of Olla, were held Sunday, at 2p.m. at 
the Shady Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. E. D. Dearman and Dr. Carlton 
Winberry officiating

Burial followed in the Adams Cemetery under the direction of Riser and Son 
Funeral Home of Columbia. 

Mr. Dunn died Friday, June 25, 1982, at the Hardtner Medical Center of Urania 
after a long illness.

He was a retired school bus driver and member of the Shady Grove Baptist 
Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sarah McNaughton Dunn of Olla; three 
daughters, Mrs. Bessie Lea Farrington, Mrs. Jewel McCartney and Mrs. Bernice 
Hatten, all of Olla; a brother, C. C. Dunn of Columbia; two sisters, Mrs. 
Fannie Newsom of Sterlington and Mrs. Thelma Hess of Sulphur; 9 grandchildren, 
20 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
Luther was the son of Sebron Gray DUNN & Rittieann Catherine "Rittie" MAY.
