Doughty, Tullos, Buried May 13 In Heard Cemetery Services for William F. Doughty, age 40, were held Sunday, May 13, at 2:30 p.m., from the Baptist Church in Tullos. Mr. Doughty died in a hospital in New Orleans after a long illness. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Omah Doughty; three sons, Everett, of the U.S. Navy, stationed at Purcelle, Okla., James and Robert, both of Tullos; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John M. Doughty, of Tullos; three brothers, B. E., of Pineville, J. E., of Jonesville, and A. A., of Edenton, N.C. The Rev. F. W. Hart, of the Tullos Baptist Church, officiated, with interment following in the Heard Cemetery at Manifest. Pall bearers were: Earnest Smith, Hardy Bass, Cary Bass, N. J. Tradewell, A. J. Taylor and Henry Peterson. Funeral services were under the direction of Hixson Bros. of Jena.
