Albritton, pastor of the Midway Baptist church officiating, for Henry Doughty, aged 46 years, 4 months and 5 days. His untimely death occurred on Friday due to heart failure. Mr. Doughty was born January 1, 1887, near Archie and had resided in this section almost continuously since. At the time of his death he was engaged in farming and has many friends throughout LaSalle and adjoining parishes who will regret to learn of his death. Surviving the deceased are his mother, Mrs. A. Doughty; five sisters, Mrs. Geo. Coleman of Shreveport, Mrs. N.C. Holloway, Mrs. A. Floyd, Mrs. B.C. Alexander and Mrs. F. Albritton and three brothers, S.A., L.J. and L.R. Doughty and many other relatives and friends.
