Ben E. Edwards Jr.

Ben E. Edwards Jr., 44, of Jena, died at 11:36 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, 1990 at
the LaSalle General Hospital of Jena.

He was disabled from birth and a member of New Evergreen Baptist Church.

Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at New Evergreen Baptist Church of
Jena with Rev. Dave Mayes, officiating.

Burial followed in Webster Cemetery of Trout under direction of Kinner and
Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Edwards Sr. of Jena; two
brothers, Elton Edwards of Beuna Park, Calif. and Van Edwards of Jena; four
sisters, Bertha Gardner, Barbara Bell, Willie Mae Farris and Gladys Edwards,
all of Jena.

Pallbearers were Herman Williams, Sim Hardwell, Willie Bell, Bob
Killingsworth, Leo Bell and Herman Johnson.
