Wednesday at the Belledeau Baptist Church on the Hessmer Hwy. Burial followed in the church cemetery under the direction of First National Funeral Home of Alexandria. Mr. Evans died suddenly about 6:30 Monday at his home in Alexandria. He was an auto body man. Survivors include his widow; Mrs. Neze Evans of Alexandria; one son, Gene Evans, of Kenner; one daughter, Mary Louise Littleton of Poland; one sister, Mrs. Eva Corley of Jena; three brothers, Mike Evans and Jim Evans, both of Jena and Earl Evans of Vinton and four grandchildren.
