Obituary of Lillie Alice Fox

Former Urania Resident Died in Midland, Texas

 Mrs. Lillie Alice Fox, age 69, of Midland, Texas, formerly of Urania,
died recently.

 She was a member of the Baptist Church and Order of Eastern Star. Her
and her late husband resided in Urania many years ago when he operated
a theatre.

 Survivors include two sons, Charles D. Samples of Midland, Texas and
Freddie S. Samples of Odessa, Texas; a brother, Jason Warford of
Columbia, La.; two sisters, Mrs. Mittie Sharp of Fort Smith and Mrs.
Malinda Hendrix of Magnolia, Texas; seven grandchildren and four great-
grandchildren.

 Funeral services were held at Ashby Funeral Chapel in Midland with Rev.
Norman Byrd and Rev. Tommy Samples officiating. Burial was at Faiarplay
Cemetery.
