Shelby Gene Ferrington

Shelby Gene Ferrington, Sr., 60 of Pineville, died Friday, October 2, 1998, at
the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria following a brief illness.

A truck driver, he was born April 9, 1938 in Louisiana to the union of Claude
and Ethel Meredith Ferrington.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, October 4, at the chapel of Riser
Funeral Home of Columbia with Rev. Carl Shurte officiating.

Interment followed in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery west of Columbia under
direction of Riser Funeral Home, Columbia.

Survivors include two sons, Shelby Ferrington, Jr. of Pineville and Rocky D.
Ferrington of Dry Prong; two daughters, Tanya Edwards of Georgetown and
Debrorah Lesko of Pittsburg,Pa.; two brothers, Carl Ferrington of Columbia and
bob Ferrington of West Monroe; one sister, Donna Sue Guerrero of Columbia; and
11 grandchildren.
