Foster, 47, of Jackson, Mississippi were held at 2 p.m. last Friday at the chapel of Kinner and Stevens inc. of Jena with Rev. A. L. Norsworthy officiating. Burial followed at the Woodland Cemetery of Jena with arrangements by Kinner and Stevens Inc. of Jena. Foster who lived in Jena for a short time died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 1980 at his home in Jackson, Miss. He was a engineer for Cities Service, a member of the Baptist Church and veteran of the Korean conflict. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary Beth Foster of Jackson; two sons, Leo Waddell of Waco, Texas and Bill Waddell of Midland, Texas; and two sisters, Mrs. Betty Younger of Longview, Texas and Miss Virginia Foster of Dallas, Texas. Pallbearers were Davis Silman, Robert Brodnax, Otis Byrd, Ed Craille, Greg Harden, Chuck Robinson, Howard E. Hemphill and William Jerry.
