MRS. C. C. FRANKLIN WAS BURIED SUNDAY AT CHICKASAW CHURCH

Funeral services for Mrs. C. C. Franklin, 34, who died at her residence five
mile east of Olla on Saturday, October 3, at 8:30 p.m. were held Sunday at
Chickasaw cemetery at 3 p.m. with Rev. Morland Doughty in charge.

Mrs. Franklin is survived by her husband, four small children, four sisters,
Mrs. Elizabeth Sanon, Blade, La.; Mrs. Violet Emerick, Walters, La.; Mrs.
Susan Paul, Buckeye, La.; and Mrs. Jessie Franklin,Olla, La.; Tow brothers, A.
C. Jernigan, Walters, La. And T. H. Jernigan, Blade, La.

Active pallbearers were W. T. Brittian, D. Holloway, Jack Holloway, Henry
Francis, Dallas Brooks, Homer Estess, Joe libsey and T. Sills.

Funeral services were in charge of Riser Funeral Home of Olla.
