Fallin Sr., 70, of Jena, died at 9:25 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 1990 at the LaSalle General Hospital of Jena. He was retired from Halliburton and from Fallin Sausage in Jena. A veteran of World War II, he was awarded the bronze star in the was, was a member of VFW Post 5002 and was post commander in 1986-1987. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Nolley Memorial Methosist Church of Jena with Rev. Paul Carroll, officiating. Burial followed in Nolley Cemetery of Jena under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral of Jena. Survivors include three sons, Russell L. Fallin of Baton Rouge; Hope R. Fallin of Jena and Leslie L. Fallin Jr. of Kelly; a brother, Clayton Fallin of Delhi; a sister, Christeen Fallin Hobbs of Monroe; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers were Dale McCartney, Richard Andrews, David Gough, Reggie Ingram, Red Hailey and Houston Ganey.
