Fowler, 78, of Coushatta, died at 2 a.m. Monday, May 21, 1990 at the Huckaby Hospital in Couchatta. He was owner and operator of Fowler Drug Store in Coushatta for 34 years, a member of Holly Springs Masonic Lodge and a Methodist. Services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Coushatta with the Revs. Bill Hines and William Sicman, officiating. Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Oak Grove Cemetery of Rhinehart with Rev. Lucian Conway and Rev. Bill Pawson, officiating. Burial was under direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Coushatta. Survivors include his wife, Derma Welch Fowler of Coushatta; a daughter, May Jon Eubanks of Rhinehart; a brother, H.M. Fowler, Sr. of Coushatta; two sisters, Mrs. N.L. Weiser of Kokomo, Inc. and Mrs. Irving Schexnayder, Sr. of Vacherie; three grandchildren and two greaat-grandchildren. Nephews served as pallbearers.
