He was a life-time resident of LaSalle parish and a veteran of World War II. Funeral services were held at 10:30 today (Thurs.) From the Hurricane Creek Baptist church with the Rev. Lee Robertson officiating. Burial followed in the Frazier cemetery of Rogers under the direction of Kinner and Stevens funeral home of Jena. Military grave side services were conducted by the Jena VFW unit. Survivors include four brothers, James, Louis, Shep, and Oliver, all of Rogers; and two sisters, Mrs. Audrie Greer and Mrs. Josephine Breland, both of Rogers. Pallbearers were Jena National Guardsmen Earl Brooks, Perry Hudnall, Johnny Roy Smith, Meredith Hailey, David Cole and Charles Slay.
