BESSIE IRENE FRANCIS

Bessie Irene Francis age 62 years and two days passed away at her home near
Utility on September 20, 1940 at 5:40 a.m. from a lingering illness. She was
married to D.U. Francis in 1898, whom she leaves to morn her passing, and the
following children and grandchildren, daughters, Mrs. R.M. Johnson, Houston,
Texas, Mrs. O.L. Lively, Archie, Mrs. M.M. Fannin, Archie; Sons, C.E. Francis,
Utility; Ivy Francis, Archie; Joe Francis, Archie; Morris Francis, Archie;
Doris Francis, Archie; and a host of grandchildren.

Funeral was conducted by Rev. Morland Doughty of Tullos, and burial in Pine
Grove cemetery under the direction of Kinner and Stevens of Jena.
