He was a retired employee of Terrebone Parish Sheriff's Department and a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. Services were held at 2;00 p.m. Tuesday at chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Patrick Thompson, Eddie Thompson and Charlie Andrews, officiating. Burial followed in Winnfield Cemetery of Winnfield under direction of Hixson Brothers Inc. of Jena. He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Kenny Williams, Packy Thompson, Darren Domangue, Doug Bartley, Rocky Thompson, Tommy Thompson, Rickey Bartley and Neil THompson.
