J. C. WISHUM Jena-Funeral services for Mrs. Johnnie Cupples Wishum, 81, were held at 2 p.m. in First Baptist Church of Jena with the Rev. John Ed Snell, the Rev. Mickey Bounds and the Rev. Billy Crosby officiating. Burial was in Chickasaw Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. Mrs. Wishum died Sunday morning in LaSlle General Hospital after a long illness. Surviving are four sons, Willie P. Cupples of Shreveport, James Cupples of Monroe, Paul Cupples of Houston, Tex., and Don Cupples of Jena; two daughters, Mrs. Loie Andrews and Mrs. J. D. Hudson, both of Jena; two brothers, Uriel Manchester of Jena, W. A.
