CUPPLES, SR. Services for Willie Peyton Cupples, Sr., were at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, 1994, in Summer Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Bubose and Dr. Joe Kite officiating. Burial was in Centuries Memorial Park under direction of Centuries Memorial. Cupples, 73, of Alexandria, died Monday, Nov. 7, 1994, in his residence. He was a native of Olla and a former resident of Shreveport. He was a member of Parkview Baptist Church, Alexandria, and a former member of Summer Grove Baptist Church. He was a World War II U. S. Navy veteran and a retired salesman for singer Manufacturing Co., Shreveport. Survivors include his wife Ola Mae Cupples of Alexandria; one son Willie Peyton Cupples, Jr. of Ann Arbor, Mich.; four daughters, Renee' Cupples Caseio of Santa Fe, N.M., Angela Cupples Durham of Glastonbury, Conn., Gina Cupples Adams of Jackson, Miss., and Teri Cupples Foti of Alexandria; one brother, Don Cupples of Jena; two sisters, Paula Jean Cupples Ratcliff and Wanda Joy Cupples Hudson, both of Jena; and five grandchildren. Pallbearers were James Boyd, Theo McLemore, Butch Bunch, Sammy Lipsey, Skip Wallace and Jackie Guess.
