Mr. John Lee Manchester passed away on Friday, November 1, 2002 at L.S.U. 
Washington, St. Tammany Regional Medical Center, Bogalusa, LA. Age 72, years. 
Born Olla, LA and resident of Plainview, LA. Survived by : his wife, Faye 
McLendon Manchester of Plainview, LA; son, Landis Manchester of Baratarie, LA; 
daughter, Vicky Manchester Hedrick of Chalmette, LA; brother, J.H. Manchester 
of Las Vegas, Nevada and sisters; Elaine King, Gretna, LA, Virginia Moorman of 
Folsom, LA and Laverne Moseley of Thomas, LA. Also survived by 7 
grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews. He is 
preceded in death by : a son, Timothy Alan Manchester and brothers: Clinton 
Levi and Hugh Manchester. He is a member of Plainview Missionary Baptist 
Church. Presently employed by Barriere Construction Co., New Orleans, La. 
Visitation is Sunday, November 3, 2002 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on 
Monday - 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. at Plainview Missionary 
Baptist Church until service time at 11:00 a.m. 
Interment will be in Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
