RUBY CHAPMAN
Ruby Chapman, 75, of Summerville, died at 3:50 a.m., Sunday, March 14, 1999, 
at LaSalle General Hospital of Jena.
She was a homemaker and member of the Baptist faith. She was born Jan. 16, 
1924, in Emmett, Ark., to the union of Gordon and Ora Powell Richards.
Services were held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 17, in the chapel of Kinner 
and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. Glen Roark officiating.
Interment followed in the Jena Cemetery under direction of Kinner and Stevens, 
Inc. of Jena.
Survivors include her husband, Odee Onree Chapman of Summerville; one 
daughter, Judy Chapman Fowler of Jena; one son, John Allen Chapman of Jena; 
and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Steve Sanders, June Fowler, Jeffery Fowler, Chris Fowler, 
Jody Fowler and Matt Fowler.
