Her parents were Hilton and Molissie Chapman Cruse. She was the fifth of nine children. She loved sports, hunting and fishing. She was married to William Talmadge Bradley and was the mother of one son, "Little Talmadge" who had Down's Syndrome. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Monroe for over 60 years and a member of the Vota Vita Sunday School Class. She excelled in her life long profession as a wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. All who were privileged to know her benefited from her sense of humor, free advice, and fun loving nature. She was known as "Aunt Myrtle" to all her family and friends. Her time on earth made this a better place in which to live. Everyone who knew her loved her and she will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband; son; and a host of family. She is survived by one brother, Hollis Cruse of Monroe, LA; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins; and a host of friends. A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2002, in Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Dr. Randy McGee and Dr. John Traylor officiating. Burial will be in Lowe Cemetery, Kelly, LA. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
