HAILEY, Michael Elmo, II

  21, of Nebo, died Monday, September 15, 1997, from injuries sustained in a
head on collision that occurred Sunday night(September 14, 1997)on La. 8,
south of Jena.

  Services were held Tuesday, September 16 at Nebo Baptist Church with Revs.
Dan Davis, Joey Paul and Lawrence Hailey officiating.
  Interment followed in the Nebo Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers
Funeral Home of Jena.

  He was a floor hand for Justiss Oil Company of Jena and a 1994 graduate of
Jena High School.

  Survivors include his father, Michael Hailey,I of Nebo; step-mother, Cindy
Hailey of Nebo; two sisters, Alanna Hailey of Nebo and Erzsebet Bell of
Columbus, Ga.; two brothers, Benjamin Hailey and Jody Toppanto, both of Nebo;
maternal grandmother, Bettye Walker of Jena; paternal grandfather, Elmo Hailey
of Nebo.
