Hudson, 67, of Jena, died at 12:45 p.m. Sunday, December 7, 1997 at the St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. He was a retired railroad engineer and was employed by the Town of Jena for several years. He was a Baptist by faith and a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was born May 24, 1930 to the union of Jim & Grace Williams Hudson. Services were held Tuesday, December 9, at the chapel of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Bo Owens and Bill Robertson officiating. Interment followed in the Belah Cemetery of Belah under arrangements by Kinner and Stevens Inc. of Jena. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Cupples Hudson of Jena; two daughters, Pam Armour of Jena and Deb Attaway of Trout; two sisters, Clotile Walker of Monterey and Mary Ethel Foster of Ball; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers were Donnie Cupples, Terry Andrews, Brent Farley, Bobby Andrews, Ronnie Walker and George Cupples. (The Jena Times, Wednesday, December 10, 1997)
