All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Obituary of Len Huffman From The Jena Times, September 25, 1958 issue Len Huffman, 83 Is Buried at Rhinehart Len Huffman, 83, lifelong resident of Walters, who died Saturday afternoon at Jena Hospital, was buried Sunday afternoon following services at 2 o"clock at the Prosperity Baptist Church. Conducting the final rites were Revs. Genie Walker and Everrett Miller. Interment was in Pine Grove Cemetery at Rhinehart, under direction of Kinner and Stevens Home for Funerals, Jena. Mr. Huffman, a retired farmer, is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Willie Chadwick of Wichita, Kansas, and Mrs. Lois Paul of Walters, three sons, Carter and John of Walters and Clem of Winfield; two sisters, Mrs Gencie Hailey of Nebo and Mrs. Martha Floyd of Walters; four half brothers, Ed and Arch Chevallier of Walters, Clarence Chevallier of Trout and Sheppard Chevallier of Rhinehart; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Serving as pallbears for the final rites were Leon Huffman,H.H. Huffman, Tracy Chevallier, Blanchard Chevallier, Chester Floyd and Meredith Hailey.
