She was a homemaker and member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. She was born November 27, 1918 to the union of Thomas J. and Eva Lorraine Cruse Eubanks. Services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 26, at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with Revs. Joel Johnson and Tommy Hollis officiating. Interment followed in the Chickasaw Cemetery near Olla under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include two daughters, Tommie Elaine Sanders of Olla and Eva Louise Yule of Carthage, Texas; two sons, Smith W. Hopkins of Olla and James W. Hopkins of Seminole, Okla.; four sisters, Theo Cockerham of Summerville, Laverne Coates of Shreveport, Tommie Jeanette McCarver of Baton Rouge and Helen Cockerham of Jonesville; two brothers, Eddie Coolman and Olan Coolman, both of Olla; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Johnny Burl Kirkham, Donald Roark, Buddy Barnett, Charles Walters, Reed Walters, and James Cupples.
