Hebron, 77, of Jena, died at 6:50 a.m., Monday, June 29, 1998, at St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. He was a veteran of World War II. Services were held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 1, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. Byron Norris officiating. Interment followed in the Coon Cemetery of Rogers under direction of Hixson Brothers Inc. of Jena. Survivors include three sons, Roy Hebron, Mayor of Ball, Wes Hebron of Tioga and John Hebron of Ball; one daughter, Myra Christine Melder of Deville; two sisters, Mrs. Donnie Bradford of Rogers and Mrs. Zadie Parrish of Monterey; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Junior Hebron, Brandon Hebron, Bobby Hebron, Lonnie Salard, Billy Wayne Crawford and Jerry Dauzart.
