Officiating was Rev. Dale Hensarling, pastor of Love Chapel United Methodist Church. Burial followed in the Hill Crest Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Hill Crest Funeral Home. Mrs. Harrison has been a resident of Haughton for 31 years. She was a member of the Love Chapel United Methodist Church, Village Lions Club, Oriental Shrine, White Shrine, Eastern Star, Haughton Homemakers Club and the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Posse Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband, C. N. "Rip" Harrison, Jr. of Haughton; one son, C. N. Harrison, III, of Elm Grove; one daughter, Linda Jones of New Orleans; four sisters, Doris Edwards of West Monroe, Iva Lou Bonds of Panama City, Fla., Johnette Jacobs of Pineville, and Vicki Buckhalter of Jena; one brother, Pat Drewett of Bogalusa; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Earl Porter, John Irvine, Lee Edwards, Henry Dodd, Ray Turner, Bob Leach, Mickey Holland, and Paul Carson. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Village Lions Club.
