Robert L. Husbands

Robert L. Husbands, 69, of Jena, died at 2 p.m., Monday, October 26, 1998, at
his residence.

He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service. He was a veteran
of the Korean Conflict, and a member of Midway Pentecostal Church.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Midway Pentecostal Church
near Jena with the Revs. Mike Poole and Ben Deville officiating.

Interment followed in the Jena Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers
Funeral Home of Jena.

Survivors include his wife, Viola Nichols Husbands of Jena; one daughter,
Patty Husbands of Jena; two sons, Mickey Husbands of Alexandria and Daryl
Husbands of Jena; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were Gene Kirl, Terry Keene, Tracy Howard, Lawrence Nichols,
Donnie Kendrick and Rex Sharp.
