She was a retired teacher and merchant and member of Tullos First Baptist Church and member of the Urania Chapter No. 138, Order of the Eastern Star. Services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Tullos First Baptist Church with Rev. Lee Thomas officiating. Burial followed at Rosefield Cemetery at Rosefield under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Martha Fae Smith of Tullos; a son, Raymond Huffman of Houma; a brother, Chris Roark of Groves, Texas; a sister, Miss Fae Roark of Jena; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Terry Smith, Shelby Smith, Quincy Hodges, James Hodges, Lavonne Smith and Cleve Taylor.
