She was a lifelong resident of Olla, a member of First Baptist Church of Ola and was a retired clerk with the Harris General Merchandise Store in Olla. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home in Columbia with the Rev. Lawrence King, officiating. Burial followed in Olla Cemetery under direction of riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Survivors include one sister, Kate Harris Mott of Little Rock, Ark. Pallbearers were Bobby McCartney, Charles Seaward, Vernon B. Harris, Delmar Gilliam, Edward Harris and Eual Douglas.
