Howard Hendrix

Howard Hendrix, 88, of Olla, died at 7:20 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 1990, at
Hardtner Medical Center in Urania.

He was a retired farmer and member of the First Baptist Church in Olla.

Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Olla with
the Revs. Glenn Wagon and Lawrence King, officiating.

Interment followed at Adam Cemetery near Kelly under direction of Hixson
Brothers Funeral Home of Jena..
Survivors include his wife, Dollie Mitchell Hendrix of Ola; four sons, Homer
Hendrix of Alexandria, Lorraine Hendrix of Waco, Tx., Jimmy D. Hendrix of
Georgetown and Rickey Hendrix of Shreveport; a brother, John Hendrix of St.
Joseph; a sister, Lena Wainwright of Jena; 8 grandchildren and 11 greaat-
grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Blake Sims, Mitchell James, Charlie A. James, Kevin King,
Dave Hendrix and Dock Dunn.
