She was a member of Rosefield Baptist Church. Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Rosefield Baptist Church with the Revs. Larry Doughty and Chris Meredith, officiating. Burial followed in Rosefield Cemetery under direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Survivors include her husband, Charles Frances Hyde of Rosefield; six daughters, Cleo Hodges of Delhi, Edna Hodges of Rosefield, Memeta Edwards of Monroe, Chloa Smith of Ferriday, Glenda Phillips of Jena and Cheryl McGuffee of Monroe; two sons, Charles Lea Hyde of Rosefield and Myrl Hyde of Hebert; a brother, Frances Currington of Rosefield; a half-brother, Coy Poole of Monroe; 26 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Raymond Phillips, Mark Edwards, Erick Edwards, Crawford Williams, John Hodges and Sam Hodges. Honorary pallbearers were Justin McGuffee, Rodney Phillips and Charles Hodges.
