She was a member of First Baptist Church in Olla, and a charter member of the Urania Order of Eastern Star. She was a lifelong resident of LaSalle-Winn parish area. Services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Olla with the Revs. Aubrey Veueleman, Lawrence King and Glen Wagon and Chaplain G. T. Hinton, officiating. Burial was in the Urania Cemetery under direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Surcicors include two sons, G.T. "Bud" Hinton, Jr., of Olla and Q.T. Hinton of Lake Charles; one daughter, Alice Thomas of Oak Grove; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, two great-great- grandchildren and three step-great- great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were David McDougal, Bob Allbriton, Blake Sims, Pete Randall, Lee Breithaupt, and Ray Duke.
