He was an employee of Western Atlas International, a member of First United Pentecostal Church and Masonic Lodge No. 298 F&AM. He was a member of El Karubah Temple, Shreveport and Scottish Rites of Free Masons in Shreveport. Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday in First United Pentecostal Church in Georgetown with Rev. David Tipton Jr., officiating. Burial followed in Zion Baptist Church Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Harrison of Georgetown; one son, James Odis Harrison of Bossier City; two daughters, Melissa Lester of Bay City, Texas and Angela Jeansonne of new Orleans; four sister, Betty Armstrong of Ball, Kathleen Lincecum of Georgetown, Rosemary Carver of Minden and Dianne O'Neal of baton Rouge; and one grandchild.
