Funeral Service For Mr. John A. Hailey To Be Held Jan. 20
Funeral services for Mr. John A. Hailey, 55, of Nebo, who died in the
Jena hospital on Wednesday, Jan. 18, will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday,
Jan. 20, at the Nebo Baptist church.
Mr. Hailey, a lifelong resident of LaSalle parish, was born on November
7, 1895.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hixon Brothers funeral
home, Jena.  Interment will be at the Belah cemetery.
Mr. Hailey is survived by his mother, Mrs. James Hailey, Nebo; his wife,
Mrs. Gencie Hailey, also of Nebo; five sons James, A. W., Meredith, 
Chester and Lester, all of Nebo; five sons James, A. W., Mere-Deville,
Nebo (sic), Mrs. Turner Sanders, Winnfield, and Mrs. Sam Andrews and 
Mrs. Earl Ray Coon, both of Jena; three brothers, Ben, Davis and Lee all
of Nebo; and one sister, Mrs. Joe Whatley, Nebo.
