JONES, Claudia

 Mrs. Claudia Jones, 86, of Urania, died on August 1, 1974 at the LaSalle
General Hospital.

 Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 3, at the chapel of Hixson Brothers
Inc., of Jena, with Rev. Jack Baucum, officiating.

 Interment followed at Belah Cemetery of Trout under direction of Hixson
Brothers Inc. of Jena.

 Survivors include her husband, C.D. Jones of Urania; three daughters, Mrs.
Gladys Brazall of Georgetown, Mrs. Jeanette Russell of New Iberia, Mrs.
Moice Vincent of Redding, Calif.; three sons, Charles Jones of Westlake, La.
Dee Jones and G. C. Jones, both of Port Arthur, Texas; two brothers, I.C.
Strickland and D.A. Strickland, both of Monroe; one sister, Mrs. Mary
Underwood of Denton, Texas; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
