Ayliffe L. jones

Ayliffe L. Jones, 70, of Belah community died at 11:30 p.m. Monday, December
22, at LaSalle General hospital of Jena.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday Dec. 24 at the chapel of
Hixson Brothers Inc. of Jena with Rev. Eldred Blakely and Rev. Tom Cotten,
officiating.

Interment followed in Belah Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Inc.
of Jena.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lucille Jones of Belah; three sons, Max
Jones of Ferriday, Buford Jones of Pineville and Delmar "Dink" Jones of
Hartford, Ill.; three brothers, Thomas Jones of Jena, Alex Jones of Jonesville
and Jimmy Jones of Harrisonburg; six sisters, Mrs. Fronie Stone, Mrs. Claudia
Bordelon and Mrs. Lois Ricks, all of jonesville, Mrs. Nola Lamar of Baton
Rouge, Mrs. Fairlyn Bass of Clayton and Mrs. Mary Allen of Jena.
