He was a former resident of Jena and worked as an assembly line worker for Chrysler Motor Company in Detroit. Services were held at noon last Sunday in New Evergreen Baptist Church with the Rev. Leon Smith officiating. Burial followed in Webster Cemetery of Good Pine under direction of Gayden Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include one daughter, Stacy Jones of Detroit, Mich.; his parents, James and Florence Jackson of Jena; six brothers, Charlie Jones of Winnfield, Willie Jackson, of Lansing, Kan., Bobby Jackson, David Jackson, Charles Jackson, and Greg Jackson, all of Jena; and four sisters, Emma Williams of Detroit, Mich., Billie Dean of Jena, Janie Wooten of Kelly, and Angela Jackson of Baton ROuge.
