Jasper Bass

Services for Jasper Bass, 56, of Olla were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Olla
Church of God with the Revs. David Jones and H. C. Glisson officiating. 
Burial was in Olla Cemetery under direction of Riser and Son, Columbia.

Bass died at 2:30 a.m. Friday, February 3, 1984, in his home.

He was a member of Olla Church of God, a veteran of World War II, and
produce manager at the Highway Supermarket.

Survivors include his wife, Ernie Bass of Olla, three daughters, Janet
Haley of Covington, Donna Hall of Jena, and Sharon Oalmann of Olla;
 three brothers, Bill Bass of Transylvania, and Archie Bass and Henry Bass, 
both of Oak Grove; three sisters, Fannie Tyson of Oak Grove, Arline Barnhill
of Georgetown, and Viola King of Spokane, Washington, and six grandchildren.
