All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Obituary of Louella Kendrick From The Jena Times, June 15, 1977 Mrs. Louella Kendrick Died Tuesday Morn Mrs. Louella Kendrick, 74 year-old resident of Old Jena, died about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, June 14, 1977, at the Golden Age Nursing Home in Jena. She had been ill for several months and had recently been moved to Jena from Harrisonburg Nursing Home. Funeral Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Bellevue Baptist Church. Burial followed in Nolley Memorial Cemetery of Jena with arrangements by Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Ruby Rasbury of Olla; two step- daughters, Mrs. Ethel Johnson of Midwest City, Okla. and Mrs. Nell Green of Yarbo Linda, California; three sons, Paul Raymond Kendrick of New Roads, H.C. Kendrick and Daniel Glen Kendrick, both of Jena; four step-sons, Louie Kendrick, John Kendrick, Lloyd Kendrick and William Kendrick all of Jena; a brother, Theodore Paul of Longview, Texas; a step-sister, Mrs. Eunice Doughty of Rayville; 33 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Danny Kendrick, Tommy Kendrick, Raymond Kendrick, Dwane Wildman, Douglas Kendrick, Don Lively, Robert Lively and Eugene Fitzgerald.
