King, 91, of Olla, died at 7:55 a.m., Monday, July 13, 1998, in Hardtner Medical Center of Urania. He was a retired Baptist minister with 46 years in the ministry and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Olla. Services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 16, at the First Baptist Church in Olla with Rev. Woodie Rimes officiating. Survivors include his wife, Ethel B. King of Lake Charles; one daughter, Jean Goslin of Olla; one son, Dr. Lawrence M. King, Jr., of San Antonio, Texas; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-greaat-grandchild. Pallbearers will be D. L. McDougald, Edward Harris, Bobby Stott, M. L. Barksdale, Lee Breithaupt, and Jim King. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Mike Cage, Dr. Ronald hammett, M. Carlisle, Willard Russell, Slim Stapleton, John Glidewell, Grady "Bud" Hinton, Rev. Preston Holder, Rev. Bill Robertson, Rev. Scotty McDowell, Rev. Woodie Rimes, Rev. Milton Wilson, Rev. Ralph Webber, and General Tom Goslin, Jr.
