Kirkham, 68, of Olla were held at 3 p.m. Thursday in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church near Olla with the Rev. M. M. Melder, the Rev. Gary Norris, and Bro. Hayhurst officiating. Burial was in Harris Chapel Cemetery under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. Mr. Kirkham died at 7:15 a.m. Wednesday in Hardtner Medical Center in Urania. A native of Sweetwater, Ala. Mr. Kirkham was a retired farmer. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Alice Kirkham of Olla; one daughter, Mrs. Gwendolyn Lewis of Monroe; one son, Archie Lee Kirkham of Olla; two sisters, Miss Eula Kirkham and Miss Calra Kirkham, both of Olla; five brothers, Clyde Kirkham of Bossier City, Marshall Kirkham of Pineville, Grady Kirkham of Olympia, Wash., Ottis Kirkham of Monroe, and LaVaughn Kirkham of West Monroe; his father, Joseph L. Kirkham of Olla; and nine grandchildren.
