Kendrick, 58, died at 2:15 p.m. Thursday, September 20, 1990 at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. He was a native of Jena and a resident of Baker. He was a retired CPA, with 20 years services, and co-owner of Gill and Kendrick Accountants. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of Bethany World Prayer Center. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 1990 at Bethany World Prayer Center with Revs. Roy Stockstill and Carl Delatte, officiating. Interment followed in Bethany World Prayer Cemetery under direction of Charlet Funeral Home of Zachary. Survivors include his wife, Patsy Doughty Kendrick of Baker; a daughter, Susan Bickham of Baton Rouge; four sons, Paul Kendrick, Jr. of Baker, Douglas Kendrick of San Jose, Calif., Jeffery Kendrick of Boston, Mass. and Jamie Kendrick of Baker; two sisters, Nell Stussy of Oakland, Calif. and Ethel Johnson of Reno, Nev.; five brothers, Lloyd Kendrick, Glenn Kendrick, H. C. Kendrick, Louie Kendrick and Bill Kendrick, all of Jena; and five grandchildren. Pallbearers were R. O. Rush, Jim Moore, Gene Gill, Jim Rougon, Sammy Smith and Ted Long. Honorary pallbearers was C. V. Dayries.
