Marie Kirkland

Marie Kirkland, 70, of Pineville, died at 3:15 a.m. Monday, June 18, 1990 at
Rapides General Hospital in Alexandria.

She wsa a retired switchboard operator at the Alexandria Daily Town Talk.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday) at the chapel of Hixson
Brothers Funeral Home in Pineville with Rev. Charles Hutzler, officiating.

Burial will follow at Belah Cemetery near Jena under direction of Hixson
Brothers Inc. of Pineville.

Survivors include a son, John Harrison Kirkland of Tioga; a sister Irma
Gambill of Stanford, Texas; and two grandchildren.
