She was a house wife, member of Georgetown First Baptist Church and Georgetown Lodge No. 71 of the Eastern Star. Eastern Star services were held at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Huey Tarpley and Roy Davis officiating. Burial followed at Jordan Hill Cemetery in Winn Parish under direction of Hixson Brothers Inc. of Jena. Survivors include her husband of 72 ½ years, Oliver Keen of Georgetown; one brother, David Tidwell of Alvin, Texas; three sisters, Inez Jones of Houston, texas, Irene Peck of Bossier City and Velma Vryan of Dry Prong; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Jerry Keen Jr., Orban Keen, Lyndall Keen,, Jeffery Keen, Jimmy Lynn Keen and Lamar Cockerham.
