Lee, 83, of Urania, died Monday, December 22, 1997, at Hardtner Medical Center in Urania. He was born in Eros on October 10, 1914, to the union of Henry and Mary Clark Lee. He retired as a dryer tender from Louisiana Pacific Corporation and was a member of the Woodmen of member of the Urania First Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for over 30 years. Services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24, at the First Baptist Church in Urania with the Revs. W.A. Massey and Willie Beaubouef officiating. Interment followed in the Urania Cemetery under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Olla. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Young Lee of Urania; two sons, Larry Lee of Urania and Jimmie Lee of McKinney, Texas; two daughters, Nelda Nugent of Olla and Kay Kilburn of Dumas,er, J.D. Lee of Urania; one sister, Mattie Mae Smith of Jena; seven grandchildren and ten great-grand- children. (The Jena Times, Wednesday, December 31, 1997)
