Headline: Eva Mae McBroom

Eva Mae McBroom, 81, of Urania, died Wednesday, July 30, 1997, at the St.
Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.

She was born May 27, 1916, in Winn Parish to the union of Walter and Dillie
Adams McDavid.  She was a homemaker and member of Pinehill Baptist Church.

Services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 1 at the Pinehill Baptist Church of
Urania with the Revs. George Ferrington, Ed Smith and Rodney Begnaud
officiating.  Interment followed in the Pinehill Cemetery under direction of
Riser and Son Funeral Home of Olla.  

Survivors include her son, Rev. Denver McBroom of Olla; two grandchildren; two
step-grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.  

Pallbearers were Gene Meredith, William Meredith, Billy Boyett, David Boyett,
Danny Boyett, Dalton Meredith and M. W. Fife.
