MILLS, Mick E.

 Mick E. Mills, 93, of Jena, died at 1:35 a.m. Sunday, March 22, 1998, in the 
LaSalle General Hospital of Jena.

 He was a retired Custodian with the LaSalle Parish School System.

 Services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church
of Trout with the Revs. Albert Vickers and Alan Wilson officiating.

 Interment followed in the Mt. Sinai Cemetery under direction of Hixson
Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. 

 Survivors include his wife, Eunice Mills of Jena; four daughters, Loried
Crain of Grayson, Irene Elliott of Jena, LaVerne Hopkins of Anchorage, Alaska,
and LaVerle McEntyre of Vidallia; six sons, Clifford Mills of Georgetown,
Buford Mills of West Monroe, Brian Mills of Trout, Steve Mills of Haverhill,
Mass., Charles Mills of Jena and Mickey Mills of Jonesville; 32 grandchildren,
8 step-grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, 11 step-great-grandchildren and
7 great-great-grandchildren.

 Pallbearers were Matt Mills, DeVon Mills, Darian McEntyre, C. A. Mills, 
Pistol McClure and Larry Hardwick.

 Grandsons served as honorary pallbearers.
