She lived most of her life in Cotton Valley except for a few years she lived in Jena and Nebo. Services were held Tuesday, September 2, 1997 at Rose Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden with Evergreen Cemetery under direction of Rose Neath Funeral Home of Minden. Survivors include one son, David Monk of Jena; two daughters, Beverly Gresham of Coushatta and Judy Johnson of Bossier City; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
